Yoga Festival will host more than 100 classes and workshops over three days. The festival
offers affordable workshops and classes in yoga, meditation, cooking, music and more while
bringing some of the biggest names in yoga and kirtan to Salt Lake City for a fullon
celebration of movement, art and music.
Yoga Classes and Workshops
40 teachers, many from out of state, will assemble in Salt Lake City to make this year’s
community oriented festival another huge success. All the teachers are volunteering their time &
talents in the effort to make this weekend available to everyone at a nominal fee. Most events like
this elsewhere in the country cost $500 for a weekend pass. The Great Salt Lake Yoga Fest
costs $50 with preregistration.
The 3 day festival will feature classes on various styles such as Gentle Yoga, Hatha Yoga,
Laughing Yoga, Flow Yoga, Vinyasa Yoga, Power Yoga, Kids Yoga, Kundalini Yoga, Yoga for
Dancers, Tai Chi, Slackline Yoga and many more. Classes are perfect for those new to yoga
and advanced practitioners alike.
Indepth workshops will include Ayurvedic, Raw Food and Indian Cooking, Meditation, Gardening
and Yoga, Arm Balances, Yoga for addiction recovery, Face reading, Chakra energy and a

The Great Salt Lake Yoga Festival is proud to offer threeday
tickets at $35 for preregistration.
Event is organized by Yoga For People Nonprofit organization & Krishan Yoga Center.
Organizers believe that the practice of yoga is beneficial and healing for everyone and the price
of classes should not be a barrier.
The Festival will be held once again at the Krishna Yoga Center in Salt Lake City, a beautiful,
space with several class rooms, outdoor space, full kitchen and on site store “Govinda’s Gifts”
featuring books, jewelry, clothing and treasures of all kinds from around the world.
