His & Her Fall Fashion

This fashion duo shares where to buy your Fall Fashions
Fall Trends and where to buy them:

General trends:
Loud Plaids
Faux fur
Punk and military influences
Trench coats, moto jackets

Top coats - Macy's, Jcrew, Nordstrom
Rugged Americana coats - Penfield
Neutral color shirts/sweaters (tans, grays, whites) - Zara, Topman, ASOS
Louder plaid suits - go well with quiet shirts/ties
Tweed suits
Cardigans and sweaters - JCrew, Topman
Moto jackets
Boots - Urban Outfitters,Palladium Boots

Dresses and coats made with typically menswear materials - Plaids/tweeds - ZARA, Nordstrom, Macy's
Continuation of that trend with Trenchcoats - ZARA, Topshop
Military/Punk inspired - Vintage Moto Jackets (Topshop), Epaulettes on jackets,
Sweaters paired with Skirts - ZARA, Nordstrom, Macy's
Hints of faux fur - not only jackets but in shoes and bags. - Nordstrom
Tips on buying clothes from the following stores:
Topman - Typically slimmer fitting items, not always for bulky/curvy people (closest store in Las Vegas)
ZARA - Very current with trends. Fit isn't always consistent. A good idea to try on items first (closest store in Las Vegas)
ASOS - Online only, carries multiple brands though, free return shipping.
JCrew - Not as slim fitting for men, where Jake would normally purchase a medium, he buys a small.
Nordstrom - Free returns both ways so a good tip is to purchase a couple of sizes and return the ones that don't fit.

Investment items - If you want to spend some extra dollars but don't know where to spend it, put it into the shoes and coat/jacket. You'll get the most wear out of them.

Personal style is just that...personal. If you like something and you're confident when you wear it, it doesn't matter whether or not it's in style.
