Featuring a twenty five-person ensemble, the folk rock opera will open it doors again on October 18, 2013 in Midas Whale's hometown of Rexburg, Idaho. Now in it's third run, Deep Love was co-written by Ryan Hayes and close friend Garrett Sherwood. In 2010, Jon Peter Lewis joined the team as co-producer helping to launch the show into a multi city, annual event. The musical experience premiered to filled theaters and enthusiastic reviews.
Told entirely through continuous, haunting music, Deep Love blends traditional folk instruments and melodies with bluesy American rock to reveal the tale of a jealous lover's tragic reach beyond the grave. "We are excited to add the amazing talent of Amy and Savannah," said Ryan Hayes. Jon Peter Lewis agrees adding, "These ladies are exceptional singers and we are honored to have them join our cast."
Following the opening two-night run at the Rexburg Tabernacle on Oct 18th and 19th, Deep Love moves to the Colonial Theater in Idaho Falls on October 25th and 26th. The show will then continue at the Grand Theater in Salt Lake City on October 31, November 1st, and 2nd.
While dealing with death themes, Deep Love is intended for all ages. Audience members are encouraged to wear their best funeral attire.
