Mr. Mac says when you have a special occasion like Mother's Day, make it special! Every wife and mother like to see their husbands and sons clean up. If you are going out to dinner, look at the restaurant and make your appearance one step up. If it is a t-shirt and levis place – wear a collared shirt and slack, if it is a collared shirt and slack add in a sport coat, if it is a nice restaurant wear a suit. Dressing up makes the occasions that much nicer... remember it's about the mothers on this day.
Mr. Mac also has great advice for college graduates. He says the job market is competitive and it is important to make a good first impression. You've spent a lot of time, energy and money to earn the degree, so you should make the interview count! Mr. Mac says dress appropriate – nothing too faddish, too loud or too boring – tell the salesman what you are going to use it for – listen to the advise. It is better to be over- dressed then under dressed.
At Mr. Mac you can find a large assortment of dance tuxedos and suits in one. One suit can be appropriate for both occasions. It is important to also look down the road, the tuxedo is usually a one night rental and very formal and makes for a great evening. A suit is for that night and any other dress occasion that come up. And you can change the look of the suit simply by changing the shirt and tie. Take into account future needs.
All men are not built the same. All styles do not look the same on them. So Mr. Mac suggests that women take their husbands shopping with them to try on the different styles. Most men won't wear a suit that is not comfortable. Do not go too small or too tight. And, always buy ties at the same time you buy suits... so you can match them.
Mr. Mac has stores in Logan, Ogden, Layton, Bountiful, City Creek, Midvale, Taylorsville, American Fork and Orem.
