Orem entrepreneur and student, Bill Rogers, has been looking for a way to give back to society and has combined his love for adventure movies with his love for his fellow being to benefit humanitarian efforts.
Rogers is the President and CEO of LOTH Hoodies, a company that makes an upscale hoodie with technical features and a long pointed hood, inspired by fantasy and sci-fi books, movies and video games. This is a technical garment with many unique built-in features. It is designed in both Youth and Adult Sizes with thermal knit fabric on the outside and anti-pill polar fleece on the inside. Calling it "the perfect adventure hoodie", Rogers has managed to keep all of the manufacturing of the garment in the United States.
LOTH Hoodies recently started pre-sales at the Salt Lake Comic Con which had a huge response from other fantasy fans. Rogers says, “There are three reasons I started the company: To make cool hoodies, to support my family and to give back.”
LOTH donates 5% of every sale directly to humanitarian aid, in addition, for every 100th hoodie sold LOTH donates 100% of that sale to assist in disaster relief efforts. Rogers desire to give back came from being on the receiving-end of humanitarian aid after his hometown in New York was devastated by a flood back in 2006.
LOTH Hoodies has just launched a kickstarter page. If you would like to get a hoodie and be part in this effort. Visit his kickstarter page to donate:
