Twitter is on fire with anonymous bullies around the Salt Lake Valley posting malicious tweets.
The bullies use "hashtags" like "hawkprops," "rivertronprops," "jdprops" and "binghamprops" to call boys and girls inappropriate names. It has become a back and forth battle between high school students through computers.
“I think kids are braver because it's not face to face,” said Donna Walsh, a Salt Lake mother.
Juan Diego Catholic High School in Draper sent a message to parents asking them to report cyber bullying. The school noticed an increased number of blog sites being created to “harass others and disparage the school.”
One of the anonymous bullies recently tweeted an apology, typing “Honestly, if I've hurt you I'm sorry. That was never my intention."
