Red Flag Warning for southern Utah will expire at 10pm, but dangerous fire conditions will persist for the forseeable future. Thunderstorms that developed in the southeastern part of the state will subside this evening. Lows will be in the 40s and 50s, 30s in the normally colder spots, and 60s in southern Utah. Sunday, Father's Day, will be warm and sunny. A west wind will develop across the south, with generally light winds up north. Highs will be in the 80s to near 90 up north, with Dixie getting close to 100. An isolated storm or two could develop over the southeastern mountains.
The workweek is when fire danger will really increase with more wind, hot temperatures, and low humidity. A cold front will move through the state on Wednesday, providing a little cool down for Thursday and Friday.
Happy Father's Day!
