A cold front moved through the state last night, and temperatures today will be about 10 degrees cooler than Sunday. Highs will be in the 60s to mid 70s across northern Utah and the Wasatch Front, with 80s for southern Utah. Skies will be mostly sunny, and that wind will still be huffing and puffing. Gusts could once again top 40mph across southern Utah, with 20mph gusts in the northern part of the state.
Tuesday's weather will be dramatically different, with clouds, showers, thunderstorms, and much cooler weather. Most of the rain will fall north of I-70, but southern Utah could see a few isolated storms. Highs will be in the 50s and 60s up north, 70s and 80s down south. Isolated showers and thunderstorms will linger on both Wednesday and Thursday. A big warmup is on tap for late this weekend and early next week.
Have a great holiday.
