Randall Carlisle has won numerous awards for reporting throughout his 30 year career as a television and radio journalist, including an Emmy for his series on the needs of children who dream of adoption.
Randall's career began at age 14, when he won the Ohio State radio announcing contest. He was immediately offered a part-time job at a small radio station in Ohio and continued this "mini-career" while attending high school. He continued to work in radio throughout college at Ohio State University, where he graduated with a bachelor's degree in speech. Since then, he has worked at numerous radio and television stations, including a role as co-anchor for another station in Salt Lake City from 1980-1987. Randall lives in Salt Lake City and enjoys skiing and playing golf.
